Hmmmm.....

I realised something TAMMY IS DAMM FREE! EITHER THAT SHE RECEIVES ALOT OF EMAIL ! hhahaha...

okay alil update of my life..

firstly i am sure you guys know that i tendered and my childish boss tore away my resignation letter. And so i attempted to resubmit again 4 days later. He accepted but not without telling me awhole lot of bullshit . anyway the very next day apparantly my boss's boss offered me another position. "business development manager" fixed pay no comm.

I got another offer from DBS too. DOing paper work for private banker but pay is 3.8k. THis one not much prospect but high pay.

I dunno which one to take up but many has adviced me to take up the business development job as firstly the management values me to offer me when i tender and secondly more propects and i can move outta the banking industry with the marcom experience. Thirdly my dad says there is no hurry to do paperwork . Oh well. So i have to settle for a lower pay and think far.

okay marc is kao peh background. talk again! and yeah must get rid of this music..hear until very sian leh

OPRAH & men

WHAT OPRAH HAS TO SAY ABOUT MEN

If a man wants you, nothing can keep him away. If he doesn't want you, nothing can make him stay.

Stop making excuses for a man and his behaviour.

Allow your intuition (or spirit) to save you from heartache.

Stop trying to change yourself for a relationship that's not meant to be.

Never live your life for a man before you find what makes you truly happy.

If a relationship ends because the man was not treating you as you deserve then heck, don't settle.

If you feel like he is stringing you along, then he probably is.

Don't stay because you think it will get better. You'll be mad at yourself a year later for staying when things are not better. The only person you can control in a relationship is you.

Never let a man know everything. He will use it against you later.

You cannot change a man's behaviour. Change comes from within.

Don't EVER make him feel he is more important than you are...even if he has more education or in a better job.

Do not make him into a quasi-god. He is a man, nothing more nothing less.

Never let a man define who you are. Never borrow someone else's man.

If he cheated with you, he'll cheat on you. A man will only treat you the way you ALLOW him to treat you.

All men are NOT dogs. You should not be the one doing all the bending...compromise is two way street.

You need time to heal between relationships...there is nothing cute about baggage...

You should never look for someone to COMPLETE you...a relationship consists of two WHOLE individuals...look for someone complimentary... not supplementary.

Make him miss you sometimes... when a man always know where you are, and you're always readily available to him - he takes it for granted.

They say it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them and an entire lifetime to forget them.

how much do you love dad

my dad sent me this via email.
WEIRD

How much do you love dad???

At age 8, your dad buys you an ice cream.
You thanked him by dripping it all over your lap.

When you were 9 years old, he paid for piano lessons.
You thanked him by never even bothering to practice.

When you were 10 years old he drove you all day, from soccer to football to one birthday party after another.
You thanked him by jumping out of the car and never looking back.

When you were 11 years old, he took you and your friends to the movies.
You thanked him by asking to sit in a different row.

When you were 12 years old, he warned you not to watch certain TV shows.
You thanked him by waiting until he left the house.

When you were 13, he suggested a haircut that was becoming.
You thanked him by telling him he had no taste.

When you were 14, he paid for a month away at summer camp.
You thanked him by forgetting to write a single letter.

When you were 15, he came home from work, looking for a hug.
You thanked him by having your bedroom door locked.

When you were 16, he taught you how to drive his car.
You thanked him by taking it every chance you could.

When you were 17, he was expecting an important call.
You thanked him by being on the phone all night.

When you were 18, he cried at your high school graduation.
You thanked him by staying out partying until dawn.

When you were 19, he paid for your college tuition, drove you to campus carried your bags.
You thanked him by saying good-bye outside the dorm so you wouldn't be embarrassed in front of your friends.

When you were 25, he helped to pay for your wedding, and he cried and told you how deep he loved you.
You thanked him by moving halfway across the country.

When you were 50, he fell ill and needed you to take care of him.
You thanked him by reading about the burden parents become to their children.

And then, one day, he quietly died. And everything you never did came crashing down like thunder on YOUR HEART.
If you love your dad, email this to all of u friends.

someone

from my sis's blog,

''I read somewhere that most of us girls meet certain "Someones" in our lives. First of all there's the Crush. He's the tall, good-looking guy who plays basketball, is the head prefect, the smartest guy in the school. He's usually older, and your heart flutters just a little more when he's ard, despite the fact that all the girls ard you start tittering foolishly as well. Then there's the Friend, the guy you tell all your secrets too, the one you go watch movies with, the one who sends you home when you get drunk. Sometimes you lose him because of mistaken love. The Stead, your first 'official' BF. The one who first held your hand. There are the badasses too. The Player, who cheats on you or chases other skirts for bigger assets or prettier faces. The Violent, the ones who scream at you or hit you. The Liar, who lies to get you, who lie to get out of trouble.

But the most important one is the Love. He might also be the One you regret losing. The one who you might have let go on a whim, but now regret. You like guys who resemble him, in temperament, in stature, in the way he makes you feel. It could be that you crave freedom, want to play the field before you 'finally settle down" But its too late by then. He's gone. You spend a lifetime of "what ifs" wondering if you had held on, would you be happier now? Or if you had met him later, would he be by your side now?

Usually most people don't even know that the Love is just right there. They don't get that there isnt a right age to watch out for the Love. It could be the guy you merely nod to when you pass in the hallway, or your buddy you joke and hug with for many years. The guy who sends you home safely when you are drunk, who carries you when your shoe snaps. Most of us settle for someone lesser, someone you can love with, not live without. Why? Because we think thats it for us at that age, we're mature, ready enough to choose the best-suited and live with it. We're wrong. Love doesnt discriminate age.

Love even if it means losing everything.

How funni when i tot abt my mum's question last nite& my coll asked me the same question today?

traditional mama : gal, are you staying at your new house after ROM on 7 Jul
moiz : ya, why not???
traditional mama : then arent you cohabiting wifout going thru the customary, wht if pregnant??
moiz : ooohh...then i tell randy abt it...he ll be happy staying alone....

well well...but guess she is ok eventually for staying in my new house, else i dont know when is the customary man...

mum these days must b modern....go away wif the oldies custom...

getz me OUT

hmph... getting so sian of work, been trying to see if i can move internally to another business team. Bonus is out for me.Boss said i was the highest in the dept for increment this year effective in Mar 2007..but piece of BS..cos i found my coll's increment was 15%. Although i had a promotion but nothing big, just another level up the same designation of current AM1 to AM2. AM = Assistant Manager. After AM2 will be Manager.Hoping to get to Manager before I am out of Citi..

Guess what is the hot topic today in office, the CEO of Citi Private Bank, a dashing young talent at age of 45 was sacked wif immediate effect. Gosh..n it was due to flying his mistress on company's private jet..but i guess it cd be more to it...imagine the news is now found on website, competitor's newsline.

hope i can get out of my dept soon...

FUCK THIS JOB

Hey Tam and Dean,

Tam remember nic? Noel's friend? the one that stays in simei and you told me you went to his place to gamble before ?? he is currently pursuing a degree in Veterinarian. The course takes 6 years. So i think if you really do take up the diploma , the most you can do is help out at the clinic. BUT at least it is closer to what you enjoy doing. $$ is important but satisfaction and balance in life outweights having oddles of money!!! hehehe

i was planing to submit my resignation letter today. but my stupid boss is not around. I have to give one month notice. So in this one month i have to furiously look for a new job. I need a 9-6pm job without working my weekends away!!!!!!!!! :(

SIAN working my weekends away this weekend. FUCK

Interesting

Hey Tam,

One of my childhood occupation is to be a vet too and I think I'll be damn happy to be able to work with animals. If you can get in, I'll be soooo envious and happy for you.
What will you be doing after the diploma? something like a nurse?
I was telling Jiayi that I'm considering doing the professional pet grooming course after this year when the Sinda contract ends, since it requires me to 'study' full time for 3 months at the pet hospital.
What do you think of it, since you should know the pet market better and I heard that your sis took up a grooming course.

going back to school

im contemplating going back to school... and literally full time schooling. It never crossed my mind until i came across some ad for Diploma in Vet Technology offered at TP. And seriously, no one took me seriously, my mum and Rave included until i said i am Going to the OPEN HOuse. so ..... to cut the long story short, i am seriously considering taking up the course. but of coz .... there are only 30 places available so how lucky do you think i will be. its like trying to kanna 4d leh. haiz, but i am still contemplating.
pros : i always wanted to be a vet ( at least i am half of it if i do take the course)
i will get to work with pets the rest of my life
i will be able to kill all cats in the world
i can save money by not making unnecessary/ expensive visits to the vet

cons : i cannot work for the next three years.
i will not be able to play maj as much
i must be careful about not getting pregnant
i cannot go for holidays anytime i feel like it

so gals...... i will just apply and then see how...... if i do kanna 4d, then we will rethink the situation.

Chinese New Year Plans

ANyway,

after the last blog entry...on something brighter and cheerier....dun make any plans for CNY without me!!!

erm...i'll be going Taiwan with parents and Nana (she's coming back Jan 31st) during the whole CNY period....mainly to escape the craziness here...

So i'm not gonna be around from 17th Feb to 24th Feb (Yah i know quite long huh) haha..... i'll be busy sitting on a silly bus/coach that will be travelling on the roads until my ass splits

so V-day i'm prob still up for DInner COffee Clubbing APpointments..hahahaha.someone pls call me out girlie

on getting married and leaving

as we are all going different places in our current point of our lives....my dearest girl pals...i jus wanna say i've never known how much i actually am reliant on ur support...to be honest...i've been really low for the last 4 or 5 months...and i think the peak of it came around nov/dec last year..and it really peaked just before xmas..and so on here i thank Dean for being jus the person to listen..even wen i called him like so suddenly at like i duno...12am on night...and simply for listening and being there listening to me crying on the phone...i love him for jus it. the simplest thing. and for the rest of you...tam, jia, renee, jeannie, trace..thank u for jus being around and being jus the people i've come to be so dependant on for the privilege of being happy.

if only u have an idea of what jus a silly little session we have makes me happy....u'll be pleasantly surprised...it actually doesnt take much to make jo happy..and yet...like jia says...sometimes its a temporary thing..as all emotions can be....temporal...and so..jus before going to bed at nite....i tend to think alot about everything as well..and i suppose..sometimes the more i think, the more depressed i get..but i'm much better now..esp after New Years and all..cuz in a sense..i guess i am starting to jus find my place here again...

and the shock i sent to u all with my talk about me getting married. the funny thing is...u know...wen talk of it all started and sorta got confirmed...i suddenly felt an immense feeling of fear..simply cuz i din know if i really could tell myself.."ok jo..this is it...u are gonna be leaving this time indefinitely until...u are ready for u and ur husband to come back SG"..which is such an unscheduled event..it really annoys me at the same time...so...yea..as much as this whole settling down with one man thing was something that i wanted...in a sense wen i was in the position to put my foot down and make that decision....i think i really got cold feet.....

that much said..i think i have made my peace with myself at this point and wanna take things a little at my pace instead of going on a supersonic pace...which totally would have made me lose control over what i so am trying to keep together...

jus an insight into my everyday thoughts and what goes on thru my mind.....i know sometimes i can get really philosophical and tho my entries may not be as bright and cheery...i think baring my soul on this blog is a really good way sometimes to get in touch with myself and to jus let u all know what;s going on in my mind and life....

i tend to be kinda detached from things...which is really the me...that u all never really knew..rite? yah la...that's why smarty miss joanne ting still remains a mystery to many today ma!!!! kaoz

wahwah

while tam and jeannie is in phuket and genting playing away...i be in penang looking at old accountants and talking with them yucks thanks uh....back to work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SOBZ

junior RAVE

tam...hv u planned to hv a kid soon or jus let nature take it own course.gotta plan man...u noe i was chatting over lunch wif my colls, he said, is alwis best to hv a gal then boy like how the word "HAO" is, make a little sense. As "Nu" comes before "Nan". He even have a chart which day of the month to make love for the sex of baby.90% accurate, he used it apparently.OMG!!

Had found a ROM photographer tat is finally available for that 2 hrs on 7 Jul, but he is charging 800, is used by ran's cousin, so still considering. Ran asked if i was keen in going London to take bridal shoot in May, tag along with his good buddy&fiancee to gain free bridal shoots. As the photographer is his buddy's good fren studying there, pretty well-known, taking pics for them at no cost, mayb just give an ang pow.Coffeetable album at cost price. His buddy asked ran to jus ride along. What i need to fork out is just the airticket, accomodation. Although is not a bad deal, but i wont have makeup artist, too rush(tis coming May to go), furthermore i think is far too costly.Worst of all, duno when is the actual day getting married. How silly that is.

voicing out

jo...this is for you...
firstly, i kind of understand where you are coming from...a partner will always be different from frens..yes i agree with you in a way after all we dont stay and live with frens whereas for partner yes...as we getting older reality hits us..we gotta make decisions and im pretty sure finding the one to marry seems to be the toughest of it all...so the next question like we all ponder is sometimes " are we marrying the right person?"... i agree with tam there is no exactly the right person...its how we work things out together and whether communication is exchanged between the two parties and of coz it comes with honesty and trust...our evil world is filled with zillions and trillions of pp and remember no one is perfect...so learn to love the person who u decide on it...like accept their flaws (which of coz sometimes maybe difficult) and love them for who they be...even if you thk u find the mr perfect...there will definitely be someone better out there...this a neverending vicious cycle....like how water evaporates into the sky and comes down as rain...i.e. fact of life...
as we are approaching the big 3-0...i guess time is definitely not on our side...my mum just came back from cambodia and she was telling me how unfortunate the kids are over there...like bathe and wash their clothes in a dirty river while pp like us complain about being hot and all this stuff...and like what renee say reflect...reflections....reflecting....and evaluate jo...only you can help yourself...its no use we try to drill in your head...i'm sure you have the audacity to thk and know what is best for yourself..jo the impt thing is to stick with your decision...like how i stick to my decision....we must learn to let go and be forward looking..its not easy its painful but as a chinese saying goes " a good horse dont eat backward grass!" hahah aka "hao ma bu chi hui tow cao".....sometimes if we are too indecisive and try to put our feet in too many boats we will just give way and drown...
im just giving you my thoughts and just wanna share with you how i feel....like these few days i've been also quite low morale coz of work and all...sometimes i also feel like what the hell im heading towards...i guess at this facet of our life we are all just worrying and have bad days here and there i guess the impt thing for us now is to pick ourselves up and just have to tell ourselves to go on ....a day still pass whether we are happy or not...so why should we make ourselves miserable and we shall try to be happy ya?
well like what we say....we will be there for you...we will always be a listening ear okies? xoxo

touched....

jiayi msn me this morning and said u all left ur comments on the blog. i said i'd go check it out.

and wen i read it..i almost cried. well...teary la..but not cry la. even wen dad was like less than a metre away and we are sharing like this huge desk. tam, thank you for your very wise thots and concerned words...u know i've never been one to really express much and for u to say all those to me in one go and openly to all...i really appreciate it. not jus saying this for the sake of saying it..jus saying that i really feel all ur concerns from everyone by what i read from tam. maybe over the years..i have jus been pretty much in and out of singapore and our circle of BFF (Best Female Friends) if anyone read URBAN from STraits Times yesterday...yah so i was saying....i so digress everytime i dun mean to...aiyah!! i was saying that..yah...i do feel sometimes very unrooted. I always fail to feel befittingly out of loop when in SG and also in AU. I duno why. Maybe Aquarians are naturally wierd. But I dun see Rave having any traits close to me. Except that all Aquarians are pretty cute in their own way (*grins* Yay this one is for my own vanity)

So...yea..I can see the concern and where your comments stem from. ANd i so appreciate. I so love u all and so wanna cry at the same time. U la!!!

I'll continue this post later. Got to run out of office with dad for awhile. BRB!

TAM is ze BEST...

jo,

As u can c, actually all of us are concerned abt u, tot u needed my company since mel & tavis has left, fear not to buzz me, n chat me up. Like ydae when i sms n called u for prata ;p.
Step back and asked urself what u really want, i 100% agree with tam, like i said, u are not lack of suitors, u hv the brains n looks. Gradually when u widen ur circle of frens from new job or elsewhere, u can definitely find one that is betar. Running away to Syd will made u feel sad that u cant be close to ur frens like how u said u miss all those fun we had everytime we take pics n meetup for cuppa. Give urself some time, make 2007 a yr for reflection and finding out what u really want. Will keep it short, dont worry of having no frens to hang out wif, can alwis give me a call. Beside every Tue, Thurs and Sun, i am alwis available to meet u

cheerios......

jo .....

everyone have their bad days ... some longer than the others but as always time will heal all wounds. after much tawt, i decided against emailing you as i din want to repeat this to anyone else in the group. so take this as an open letter to you and let it be known to all of us. you may not know it, but we (jia, jean, renee, dean,i) seriously want to get you out of the 'misery' that you are going through.
i'm glad you finally took enough time and courage to spell out most of the facts if not all here. you know lah, repeated stories never bring about positive comments and speculation NEVER helps. you should know by now that keeping the truth under wraps aint going to make us clear about whats really happening to you, and in that case how is any positive advice going to come out of it. as much as we all want the best for you, you cannot mislead us / (me) time and time again. THis may sound really harsh, but we have been friends all these years, we only want to protect you from any unhappiness that anyone is causing you as much as we can. im not aunt agony or the love diva but I hope i am voicing out advice in general, anyone alse, pls correct me if i am wrong.

jo.....so the point of your whole life is choosing the one you love to marry or finding a man to marry to run away from it all. i cannot recall but i remember seeing somewhere that you just wanted to get away from living at home. you want to marry kim, but yet cannot bring yourself to swear away your life knowing that you cannot bring yourself to trust him again and again? mel is def out, coz in all ways he is one possesive freak. BIG NO NO for you knowing that you need space . and then comes along Tavis, who all of a sudden seem to be able to find time and energy to meet all your demands and cries for help. so you are confused, coz you dun truely love tavis as much as you would like to, yet find yourself relying more and more on him for comfort and companionship? he is almost the god sent, convenient substitute for the love you need.
you see, the best part of it all , if you settle for anyone else besides Kim and Mel, you can live away from home and yet stay amongst your frens and love ones in Sgp. So the moral of it all, forget about Kim and Mel, both of whom are not willing to risk it all and re settle for you, (so why should you?!). Keep Tavis in mind as he has not failed you yet. As cliche as it sounds, you cannot think with your heart anymore as it is wasting you away. you have to start thinking rationally and just for one moment , stop thinking of love and companionship. you have to get on with your life, look for a job meet more pp and start to hang out with real pp. seriously, you have the brightest future amongst us all, and yet it pains all of us to see you wasting it all away just because you are in search of the unreal. i may have analysed it all wrong, but please, i just want the best for you. we will not judge you for what you do as at the end of the day, we all just wanna hang out and hope for the best for everyone.give yourself a break, you win some you lose some. get a hold of yourself, hang out have fun, no use crying over lost love, toughen up and let nature takes its course. ms pretty joanne smart ting has it all to get through it......love ya.tam

if you have second thoughts....

really .... this is a good read . Renee, if you ever have second thoughts, read on. And the rest hor , think no further ..... there is never a right person, just making the right decisions

DID I MARRY THE RIGHT PERSON?

During one of our seminars, a woman asked a common question.
She said, "How do I know if I married the right person?"
I noticed that there was a large man sitting next to her so I said,
"It depends. Is that your husband?" In all seriousness, she answered "How do you know?"

Let me answer this question because the chances are
good that it's weighing on your mind.

Here's the answer.
EVERY relationship has a cycle. In the beginning, you fell in love with
your spouse. You anticipated their call, wanted their touch, and liked
their idiosyncrasies.

Falling in love with your spouse wasn't hard. In fact, it was a
completely natural and spontaneous experience. You didn't have to DO anything. That's why it's called "falling" in love...

Because it's happening TO YOU.

People in love sometimes say, "I was swept of my feet." Think about the
imagery of that __expression. It implies that you were just standing
there; doing nothing, and then something came along and happened TO YOU.

Falling is love is easy. It's a passive and spontaneous experience.
But after a few years of marriage, the euphoria of love fades. It's the
natural cycle of EVERY relationship. Slowly but surely, phone calls
become a bother (if they come at all), touch is not always welcome (when it happens), and your spouse's idiosyncrasies, instead of being cute, drive you nuts.

The symptoms of this stage vary with every relationship, but if you
think about your marriage, you will notice a dramatic difference between the initial stage when you were in love and a much duller or even angry subsequent stage.

At this point, you and/or your spouse might start asking, "Did I marry
the right person?" And as you and your spouse reflect on the euphoria of the love you once had, you may begin to desire that experience with
someone else. This is when marriages breakdown. People blame their
spouse for their unhappiness and look outside their marriage for
fulfillment.

Extramarital fulfillment comes in all shapes and sizes. Infidelity is
the most obvious. But sometimes people turn to work,a hobby, a
friendship, excessive TV, or abusive substances.

But the answer to this dilemma does NOT lie outside your marriage.
It lies within it. I'm not saying that you couldn't fall in love with someone else. You could.

And TEMPORARILY you'd feel better. But you'd be in the same situation a few years later. Because (listen carefully to this):

THE KEY TO SUCCEEDING IN MARRIAGE IS NOT FINDING THE RIGHT PERSON; IT'S LEARNING TO LOVE THE PERSON YOU FOUND.

SUSTAINING love is not a passive or spontaneous experience. It'll NEVER just happen to you. You can't "find" LASTING love. You have to "make" it day in and day out. That's why we have the __expression "the labor of love."

Because it takes time, effort, and energy . And most importantly, it takes WISDOM . You have to know WHAT TO DO to make your marriage work.

Make no mistake about it. Love is NOT a mystery. There are specific
things you can do (with or without your spouse) to succeed with your
marriage.

Just as there are physical laws of the universe (such as gravity), there
are also laws for relationships. Just as the right diet and exercise
program makes you physically stronger, certain habits in your
relationship WILL make your marriage stronger. It's a direct cause and
effect. If you know and apply the laws, the results are predictable...you
can "make" love.

Love in marriage is indeed a "decision"... Not just a feeling

short weekend

i wish we had long weekends all the time. judging from the way the calendar runs, it would be another long 4 and 6 yrs or so before we have long weekends again. approx 4 yrs for PH to fall on fridays, and 6 yrs for ph to fall on mondays again. before we know it , its back to work again tomorrow. not that i hate work , but i love pubbing on fridays, playing maj and hanging out for soccer on sat and shopping on sundays. but i also love so many other things that i cannot find time for. not that i am THAT busy, but late nights every day should mean i am occupied one way or another. if weekends were for one more day each week, i could list out things i could do
1) hang out with the dogs
2) watch hk serial
3) beaching
4) more maj

so anyway , after a long night of maj, we had like 4 hours of sleep and woke up for trip to JB this morning with mum sis and bf. surprisingly, there was no jam either way which was perfect considering i was trying to relief rave from driving in as he was still hung over from lack of sleep and he was trying to bring us home quick for a quick nap before the big Man U match at night.
so as usual, we had our round of impeccably delicious Bak Kut Teh before heading to Hol Plaza for disc shopping. Of coz now that the shops start to sell HK serials ( which they should have done like Long Long time ago), i went crazy with trying to buy everything i could lay my hands on. before i knew it, the discs cost us 378 ringgit ( at 7 /pc). of coz it wasnt a problem for me coz it was everything i wanted. to be able to collect all the new serials that i missed in the past yr and watch them at my own pace. but then again i had to pacify rave with 'i like this actor lah', 'this show got good reveiws', 'this one is a must watch', 'she won best actress for this show' hehe ... so as usual, he had no choice but to just pay ....... but being the darling that he always is, all he said was " you better watch ah" gave me his 'smirked' face and carried on with the rest of our shopping

btw, rave's birthday this friday and we be going to DUNgeon, a pub in club street. karaoke pub. pretty spacious so dear princesses, do not worry about having no seat hor. try to make yourselves free k?

just chillin

suppose to go for high tea today but since we been having too many late nights we decided to just stay home and chill. wish you gals could pick up Maj soon. i mean just imagine .... 12 hours of non stop gossip over weekly Maj sessions. ha ha cool right but yet again then we wont have rare 'qualitied' meetings. so you win some you lose some
i second every one's suggestions to chill at home for all festive celebrations. also, hanging out at home over the weekend at some one's house is really fun. every Maj session at home now is like a riot of boys playing the PS2 and the rest of us trying to concentrate on the Maj.its fun .... at least rave is occupied trying to beat someone at winning eleven.
anyway now that every one's busy with one thing or another and with more busy days to come, lets make a pact to hang out and chill more often .... i might just get a chance to play Maj with Marc .... i knew we had an affinity of some kind....

kick ass new year PLS!!

Happy New Year ! :)

My new year's resolution like dean's is to be more positive and have more energy. Last night after talking to Dean i wanted to post an entry. It is true with the saying that as one grows older we worry ALOT more. Sometimes i think we create our own set of problems. For me, I drag myself to work every day. On my off days i hate it when my phone rings. I REALLY HATE IT.
I want to quit soon. I am not made for the financial industry. But then again i don't know what i can do. How i wish i have a decent paying job that requires me to only work on weekdays. i don't even mind working like 9-8 or something. but then again after getting a new job i know i won't be 100% satisfied as well. humans can never be truely satisfed.

okay lah i think lets not dwell too much on this subject. I think amongst us the one that is truely the most carefree is TAMMY! hahahaha She reminds me of Marc. Marc also damm stress free. But he says i am his only stress AHAHHAHA........

okay boys and girls. Lets be happy. Life is short. We make some , we Lose some. So since we are on this journey lets make more than we lose.

CHEERS to a better year. Lets plan new year eve 2008. I'm sure with a blink of an eye we will be there. HAAHHAAHHA

psst : how bout i buy TABOO ????? we can play this weekend at marc's place. ( provided i am not working on SUNDAY! :( .

Pictionary.

Wow, it must have been a good 9 days since i last visited the blog.
I enjoyed our night out playing pictionary at Bliss. It was really fun. Tam, too bad you couldnt join us. Renee said you'll be good at it. Luckily we had to do hand signs instead of drawing, if not my team members wouldnt be able to make out what I'd draw.
Maybe instead of clubbing, we can now hang out at each other homes to play some good games like this instead.

It's a new year 2007 and like what Jiayi always say we're getting older. She is always counting down (or up??) to our next age. Haha.
We'll be having more responsiblities and with it, there'll be more worries and unhappiness. I really hope that all of us can stay happy no matter what. I realised that happiness and positive-thinking is the main and most important part in our lives and for the first time during this period, I actually value happiness over money.
I hope to keep it this way, if not I'll be a very unhappy person.
I think this should be one of my new year resolution: To channel all negative thoughts into positive ones.
Anyway Jo, I hope you'll find that special someone whom you can settle down with soon and even if you cant find now, you still have us. If you call anyone of us, I'm sure we'll talk or hang out with you.

What are all of your new year resolutions? share with us la.
