thanks for being such a great host girl. and of course to ur dearest hubby: thank u tam's hubby rave for being such a great satay fire starter so we could enjoy satay-club quality-fire to pengkang our satay for the nite. thank ur parents as well for being so nice about cooking yummyliscious beehoon and curry. i so totally gorged myself to gluttony on that nite.

to everyone else who brought urselves n ur partners:
we are such a rowdy bunch. I should have brought Pictionary on that nite so we could have played Pictionary to see how far we have improved our art skills ever since Art Classes in school le. I so think if i ever had to draw a squid....u wouldnt have been able to guess it...cuz my drawing sucks la. But seriously...i really think we had a great time and though I must admit we havent sort of all come together for ages..and i mean ALL of us..Tam , Randy and even me included....I really really thank God for you all this Christmas. What is it going to be? Are we going party which is the current plan proposed by Dean for now, and location so we oldies wouldnt be crushed to Sardines is yet to be confirmed. And Jean..please let us know if Marc's cousin who's gonna be working as bouncer that nite...can let us have privileged entry into the place anot? If not, will we be able to perhaps plan a little thing that includes us all being able to at least take photos and make sure at least everyone will enjoy the night...cuz some of us may choose not to come ..knowing our pattern..haha.

oh god i realised i been missing so much too...havent read this blog and gosh so many new entries....just found out that jo did her eyes! i was like WAH simi tai chi!! where got pai liao your eyes jo whahahaha! guess maybe i need to do my eyes too...to remove my LV eye bags...and bill to KPMG and PWC....tell them thanks for making me a slave so this is what u need to pay for my "medical bills" and perhaps i do triple eyelids coz double is not enough when i wake up in the mrn with puffy eyes so three will become like two and two will become like one! feel that nowadays my life is getting boring...its purely work and work...my last week i was thrown to audit at Airfreight Cargo Complex...hated the place i seriously thought this place is very yucky with all those cargo pp............and security is uptmostly high and had to exchange my ic everyday just to get a visitor pass and also to show a letter from my client stating that we are going in for audit....and you know what i found out...my client staff are the people at the Budget Terminal and they get COMMISSION for catching people like us for EXCESS BAGGAGE! so pp u know why they are so ONZ liao lor...heheh anyway that cargo complex thingy sux the food sux the place is super far...its just after SAF ferry terminal if anyone of you know about it basically gotta drive down changi village and go straight down and white car will become black car there lor whahahah
i currently just woke up from half a bottle of hennessy accompanied by dean and punk..last nite was funny at Movida..we saw old men and women lancing their old school style dance, people trying to act REALLY COOL....let loose crowd and they played my FAV SONG VANILLA ICE ICE BABY wahhahahah (first time hear this in a club!) and so i had to rap and act like a mama for those minutes but dean and punk never act with me hehehe

trying to pack 11 days of stuff into one silly samsonite trolley bag , and guess what i can fit everything in except my WINTER JACKET. i am freaking afraid of the cold lah ... so i have a choice either i dun bring anything else except my winter jacket or buy a new luggage first thing in the morning. muz RUSH big time. coz i got loads of work to complete tom, then off to Wilfred's wedding dinner ( HA! jia, your fav fren). after much contemplation, my sis and i decided we just had to attend his wedding coz firstly, we have been frenz for a while and secondly, as usual with all his bragging we had to go see how wonderful his preparations was blah blah blah. but horrors to horrors, my mum gave me the wrong timing of the flight, she said it was 1 someting in the morning a week ago AND confirmed it a day ago ... and today she tells me the flight is 11 something. and we have already promised to be at his wedding. i could be bad , but i dun think i want our friendship to end just coz of something stupid like not turning up at his wedding without notice.so dear friends, while i am gone, take care ... till Christmas

to all who has been asking where did jo go???? MIA again ah??

my reply is sorry my dear folks...yes i have been away for awhile...and dean knows the reason cuz i told him before i went.....

actually..i went off to bangkok to do some surgery on my eye....so i have been MIA. so in case anytime after this wen u see me....dun see me and then start shouting across the street...JO!!!! OMG u look wierd what u did to your eye???!??!

if anyones does that I will pengsan and rather dig hole and crawl in lor. but yes....i did have double eyelid surgery done and it was painful and its still swollen now and apparently takes a year or more to have it fully healed and see effects.....dun ask me what made me wanna do it...

i guess it;s too much of pp coming to me and telling me i look like my mom that bothered me so much la....after a certain point...i think i just told myself i will change something so that i stop looking like her. I know sounds so extreme rite?? but yea...for once..like last week wen i went to my weekly foot massage at this auntie's place in people's park again...(i go there almost every week anyway cuz dad goes and mom and i tag along) the uncle for once told me he tot i look like my dad instead of my mom. BLISS!!!

so ya....this is the reason la...oi have been avoiding human contact cuz dean can tell u i looked pretty elephant woman for awhile la.....bravest thing i have done so far....i think even more brave than deciding to go abroad to study at age 17......deciding to have some plastic surgery done at age 26. haha.

and yes...topic nowadays on this blog is getting married, applying flat and even appreciating the fact that we all found the right person to be with and being happy together.....and i guess i am glad we all found our own little space in this big big crazy world to be happy.

even renee can talk abt 070707. Jean, Jia I duno wen urs are la...but i think mine can wait long long...hahaha....so difficult to even be in the same place as my BF at the same time lor...maybe for me....destiny is so that I am more suited to long distant things...cuz maybe its the way i function.

anyway i am grateful (seriously) for one thing over the previous week is that dean has gotten better. the emotions portrayed over the week really brought me way back into the times where we had our fair share of troubles and pain of such ... not that it brought me amusement, more so that it was wierd to have flashbacks of the past. its Different now as i see a stronger character who could find a way to make things right. i know how hurting and painful the last week must have been , but i am proud to say that you did everything right on your own.

When R msg me when he was in Beijing, i thought to myself, this fella must be happily laffing, cos even if the choice of flat is lousy in Redhill, 4th storey, he will still take it unless i violently object. Not much a choice. Had a chat with my ex-coll todae, found out that he got the queue for the Premiere- Tampines but he has to pay up 5% which is 20K by end of month, he has queue 342 out of 576 units. He has to select the flat by EOMonth. Pretty fast. Ay..if i realli choose Redhill then i guess my ROM has to be 070707..hopefully nothing screw up....
Tomorrow will be having a drinks wif my colls at LOOF and again R made me felt like i hv left him at home alone.Guess i am not used to being so sticky with him still, fatigue is e partial reason y i cant meet him daily.Prety much the same, see him only Fri-wkends and Wed if possible.
Having my surgery for my elbow tomorrow, hope it wont be that painful.Will be having MC from tomorrow afternoon till Tue. Although i am given 1 wk of medical leave.

Finally free...

Last week was one of the worst week for me. First I had a major quarrel with T and we knew it was not like before. We were both seriously contemplating a break-up. Didnt talk to each other for 4 days and if you all know our history, that was the longest time ever. I know 4 days may seem like it's such a short time for most of you(especially Renee), but it was so torturous. I had little sleep at night and I woke up everyday before my alarm sounded.
Had to force myself to go work and concentrate everyday, if I wasnt working for Tam's mum I would have taken MC. Wont go into details but I guess basically it's my fault which stemmed up from a couple of years back.
Anyway, thanks Tam for being there for me when I was at one of the lowest moments of my life and thanks for the advice. You know I just realised that you're quite good at these kind of relationship stuff and you told me things which I dont realised myself.
I'll be a changed man and I promised T that I will treat her well. ;)
Okay, to happier topics now, why arent the rest of you blogging?? So no Zouk-out for all of you? I know Tam cant cos she's going Turkey. How about the rest?

Thk our blog's gonna die..anyway im working again as usual...just hitched into my 1st month of my life in another audit firm PWC but life's aint any better wahhaha been dead busy work 24/7 7 days a week I swear...peak period is coming coz year end and we got tonnes of reporting to do...eeeeeks i hate year ends now!! i work into the wee hours daily and i got 2 additional LV eye bags...this time round no need to buy bags liao...perpetually stamped on my eyes...... :O but i will hang on still wahahhaha what to do need my CPA status till next year.................... did you guys ever hear of mail merge ... after all the projects and assignments we do on words and excels, they never considered teaching us wtf Mail Merge is . it's this amazing program that is available to EVERYONE who has microsoft office! it collates all your input data of names and addresses etc in an excel sheet and whatever information that you need to input into few thousands of letters and at the click of the button , you have few thousands letters addressed individually to be printed and sent out . I BET NO ONE KNEW .... dean didnt, neither did Jean! hahahahaha . now i have 2000 plus letters to be sent out. cool right ... and i tawt i had to type and addresss all the letters by manual input. Thank God for Mr Microsoft.

but anyway , the merging was okay altho by the time i got it all right it was already 5ish ... but the headache came later. it was the input of paper into the paper tray that sucked big time. paper tray couldnt print without damaging the edges of the letter head ... so poor me had to input paper manually , and you are talking about 2000 plus PIeces of Letterhead ... and guess who came to the rescue ... Mr Knight in Shining Armour aka Mr Rave Tan. as i watched him input paper into the manual feeder one at a time, i couldnt help but wonder , would any other bf and husband do that for their other half .while the wife surfs the net and read the news aloud hoping to distract him from the monotonous work.i would imagine your average man hanging out at home or chilling else where. i (really)volunteered to take over the job several times, but he insisted that he got the hang of it and would do a better job. we worked 6-9 and he made me realised , i did the right thing by marrying the man for how much he loves me and not for the ideal flat!! (renee : this is in jest ah ... mai xiao qi hor)

but anyway ...so far its been good for all (maybe most) of us , coz i truthfully think ... we have found the ideal partner. remember ... Nelly Sim always say marry someone who loves you more than you love him. (altho i think we love each other same same)

tomorrow's the start of me joining dean at sinda part time ... DEAN: in case you didnt know. it sure means the end of hectic days at Aec but the start of tons of paper work at sinda. i'm not exactly getting paid but i prefer it this way coz it means no fixed hours. i kinda relish my kind of lifestyle now as i no longer have to work 9-5. despite no fixed income, i just have to live a less lavish lifestyle now but other than that ... nothing else changes very much. i think i've really got enough of working for fucked up bosses/pp for a while. i give myself another half a yr or so to work things out as a student agent and if it goes as well as it seems now ... i will be living my life like this .... happy, jobless and rich!

the best thing about moving to SINDA, at least i know for sure the toilet is ten times cleaner than at aec even if the anei smell lingers strongly. i would very much prefer anei smell to pang jio smell.the aec toilet sux big time man ... like hundreds of students and staff and trainers use ONE pathetic cubicle and how the pee and over filled bins of pads lay splattered/littered all over the cubicle floor .... and tho i am not particularly fussy , i HATE dirty toilets.shhheeesssshhhh

Today i woke up at 6am. Couldn't sleep. Stressed about work. So tossed and turned till around 9am . Got up and headed to work. Uneventful day @ work. Not much interesting happenings today, except that I was locked out of my house after work, forgot to bring my keys. Brought the food that I bought from the coffeeshop nearby and made my way to my aunt's place at Rivervale. Chatted with her for an hour and came home.
Cousin was disqualifed from the subaru challenge at 3am last night. He lifted his hand unintentionally in his disorientated state. But I say he's fantastic to last for 38hrs. I doubt I can even make it past 5.
